GOING HOME, BY MOHAMED DIONE

“They say home is where the heart is. But what about where the heart used to be?”
Going Home : Guinea, Conakry is a documentary about 2 Guinean artists who take a trip back to their homeland in order to share their art.
The first one is Mohamed Dione, an actor/filmmaker. You probably heard about his first short movie “maffé tiga“,  which tells the story of a young lady who discovers that love is also about facing challenges. The second one is a musician/activist called Sanoussy Gallice Jr Diallo. After more than 10 years of living abroad, both of them decided to present their work at Conakry, hoping it will inspire, motivate and entertain the guinean youth.
